Outpost
Our Remote Outpost camp is 22 miles up the lake…..
There you will enjoy the quiet surroundings of the great outdoors. You will be serenaded by a variety of wildlife and the gentle sound of the waterfalls as you walk along our trails.
You will have the use of our vehicle to take you to the back lake (Barge Lake), with 5 boats there, you can portage into 4 other lakes that no one, except our guests can fish. These lakes are full of Walleye and Northern, with many trophies coming out of these lakes. This will be a fishing trip you will always remember.
We provide a pontoon or you can bring your own boat to fish for Lake Trout on Sturgeon Lake, which is known as one of the greatest trout fishing lakes in Northwestern Ontario.
At the end of your day, when the fish is all cleaned and stored in the freezer, you can sit by the fire, enjoy the moon, stars, the call of the loons, along with your favorite beverage, as you plan for your next great day of fishing.
The Cabin has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 10 maximum, it is all newly built with a large kitchen/dining area so while cooking you could still be part of the group. New beds, pots, pans and kitchen accessories. There is an out building that houses the hot showers and toilet.
The Outpost has everything you need for a relaxing vacation, it is a very secluded, private fishing oasis. It is located right on a Walleye sanctuary.
Things to Bring:
Food, sleeping bags, pillow and of course fishing gear. The cabin has a fridge, a new propane stove, freezer, propane barbeque, charcoal barbeque and a new wood stove for heat. The Outpost does have wifi, it is not included in the price of the Outpost rental but is provided at no charge. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee wifi.
